You fool! What you sow is not made alive unless it dies.
Though its root may grow old in the earth, and its stump may die in the ground,
You fools! Did not he who made the outside make the inside also?

When you sow, you do not sow the body that shall be, but a bare kernel, perhaps of wheat or of some other grain.
See then that you walk carefully, not as fools, but as wise men,
But do you want to be shown, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
