The son of Ulam was Bedan. These were the sons of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh.

Joseph saw Ephraim’s children to the third generation. Also, the sons of Machir, the son of Manasseh, were brought up on Joseph’s knees.

Maacah the wife of Machir bore a son, and she called his name Peresh. His brother’s name was Sheresh, and his sons were Ulam and Rakem.

His sister Hammoleketh bore Ishhod, Abiezer, and Mahlah.

The Lord sent Jerub-Baal, Bedan, Jephthah, and Samuel. And He delivered you out of the hand of your enemies on every side, and you dwelt in safety.
