Attend, O Job, hear to me: be silent and I will speak
Hear now my proof, and attend. to the pleadings of my lips.
How long will ye set an end to words? Ye shall understand, and afterwards we will speak.
Hearing, hear ye my speech, and this shall be your consolations.
Behold, I waited for your words, giving ear even to your understandings while ye will search out words.
To turn back his soul from the pit, to enlighten with the light of the living.
