While Israel was living in that region, Reuben went in and slept with his father’s concubine Bilhah, and Israel heard about it. Jacob had 12 sons:

His offering was one silver dish weighing 3 1/4 pounds and one silver basin weighing 1 3/4 pounds, measured by the standard sanctuary shekel, both of them full of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering;

Aram fathered Amminadab, Amminadab fathered Nahshon, Nahshon fathered Salmon,

son of Jesse, son of Obed, son of Boaz, son of Salmon, son of Nahshon,

Amminadab fathered Nahshon, who fathered Salmon.
