Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

But Naaman got angry and left, saying, “I was telling myself: He will surely come out, stand and call on the name of Yahweh his God, and will wave his hand over the spot and cure the skin disease.

So Naaman went down and dipped himself in the Jordan seven times, according to the command of the man of God. Then his skin was restored and became like the skin of a small boy, and he was clean.

For He spoke, and it came into being; He commanded, and it came into existence.

Then He said, “Put your hand back inside your cloak.” He put his hand back inside his cloak, and when he took it out, it had again become like the rest of his skin.

Then He told the man, “Stretch out your hand.” So he stretched it out, and it was restored, as good as the other.

Moved with compassion, Jesus reached out His hand and touched him. “I am willing,” He told him. “Be made clean.”

He got up, rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Silence! Be still! ” The wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

Then He took the child by the hand and said to her, “Talitha koum!” (which is translated, “Little girl, I say to you, get up! ” ).

Then, looking up to heaven, He sighed deeply and said to him, “Ephphatha!” (that is, “Be opened! ”).

When Jesus saw that a crowd was rapidly coming together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “You mute and deaf spirit, I command you: come out of him and never enter him again! ”

And in the prophet Elisha’s time, there were many in Israel who had serious skin diseases, yet not one of them was healed — only Naaman the Syrian.”

Reaching out His hand, He touched him, saying, “I am willing; be made clean,” and immediately the disease left him.

Then He came up and touched the open coffin, and the pallbearers stopped. And He said, “Young man, I tell you, get up! ”

After He said this, He shouted with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out! ”

If I had not done the works among them that no one else has done, they would not have sin. Now they have seen and hated both Me and My Father.

And just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so the Son also gives life to anyone He wants to.
