Then Jesus said to them, “All of you will run away, because it is written: I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.

But if we say, ‘From men,’ all the people will stone us, because they are convinced that John was a prophet.”

Then the Day of Unleavened Bread came when the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed.

Then they took Jesus from Caiaphas to the governor’s headquarters. It was early morning. They did not enter the headquarters themselves; otherwise they would be defiled and unable to eat the Passover.

So the city was filled with confusion, and they rushed all together into the amphitheater, dragging along Gaius and Aristarchus, Macedonians who were Paul’s traveling companions.

Aren’t you the Egyptian who raised a rebellion some time ago and led 4,000 Assassins into the wilderness? ”

to do whatever Your hand and Your plan had predestined to take place.
