Then Hezekiah prayed before the Lord: Lord God of Israel who is enthroned above the cherubim, You are God — You alone — of all the kingdoms of the earth. You made the heavens and the earth.

May they know that You alone — whose name is Yahweh — are the Most High over all the earth.

Human pride will be humbled, and the loftiness of men will be brought low; the Lord alone will be exalted on that day.

But He turned and told Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me because you’re not thinking about God’s concerns, but man’s.”

Then Jesus told him, “Go away, Satan! For it is written: Worship the Lord your God, and serve only Him.”

But Jesus answered him, “It is written: Man must not live on bread alone.”

If You, then, will worship me, all will be Yours.”

You are to fear Yahweh your God and worship Him. Remain faithful to Him and take oaths in His name.

Fear Yahweh your God, worship Him, and take your oaths in His name.

Therefore, submit to God. But resist the Devil, and he will flee from you.

Resist him and be firm in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are being experienced by your fellow believers throughout the world.

Then I fell at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow slave with you and your brothers who have the testimony about Jesus. Worship God, because the testimony about Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow slave with you, your brothers the prophets, and those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”

Samuel told them, “If you are returning to the Lord with all your heart, get rid of the foreign gods and the Ashtoreths that are among you, dedicate yourselves to the Lord, and worship only Him. Then He will rescue you from the hand of the Philistines.”
