‘We are wiping off as a witness against you even the dust of your town that clings to our feet. Know this for certain: The kingdom of God has come near.’

Whether they listen or refuse to listen — for they are a rebellious house — they will know that a prophet has been among them.

If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that house or town.

As you go, announce this: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’

and saying, “Repent, because the kingdom of heaven has come near! ”

If any place does not welcome you and people refuse to listen to you, when you leave there, shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.”

When you enter any town, and they don’t welcome you, go out into its streets and say,

Heal the sick who are there, and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near you.’

If they do not welcome you, when you leave that town, shake off the dust from your feet as a testimony against them.”

“Brothers, sons of Abraham’s race, and those among you who fear God, the message of this salvation has been sent to us.

So beware that what is said in the prophets does not happen to you:
