Any foreigners living among you who want to observe the Lord's Passover can do so following the Passover rules and regulations. The same rules apply to the foreigners as they do to you.’”

The Passover was eaten by the people of Israel who had returned from exile, and by those who had joined them and had rejected the pagan practices of the peoples of the land in order to worship the Lord, the God of Israel.

The Lord told Moses and Aaron, “This is the Passover ceremony. No foreigner is allowed to eat it.

All Israelites are to celebrate it.

Don't take every last grape from your vineyard or pick up the ones that have fallen. Leave them for the poor people and foreigners. I am the Lord your God.

Nor are you allowed to accept such animals from a foreigner that are damaged and defective.”

The same laws apply to foreigners who live with you as to Israelites, for I am the Lord your God.”
