The Lord gave the donkey the ability to speak and it said to Balaam, “What have I done to you for you to beat me three times?”

“Who gave people mouths?” the Lord asked him. “Who makes people deaf or dumb, able to see or blind? It's I, the Lord, who does that.

“You made me look stupid!” Balaam told the donkey. “If I was holding a sword, I'd kill you now!”

Nothing is impossible for God.”

We know that all creation groans with longing, suffering birth-pains even up till now.

As Scripture says, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and I will wipe out the cleverness of the clever.”

But he was rebuked for his evil actions—a dumb donkey spoke with a human voice and stopped the prophet's foolishness!
