Jesus was brought before Pilate the governor who asked him, “Are you the King of the Jews?” “You said it,” Jesus replied.

They all asked, “So are you the son of God?” “You say that I am,” Jesus replied.

Then Pilate asked, “So you are a king, then?” “You say that I'm a king,” Jesus replied. “The reason why I was born and I came to the world was to give evidence for the truth. All those who accept the truth pay attention to what I say.”

Meanwhile Jesus' disciples were urging him, “Rabbi, please eat something!”
