After Jesus finished telling these stories, he left.
He explained many things to them, using stories as illustrations. “The sower went out to sow,” he began.
“This is why every religious teacher who's learned about the kingdom of heaven is like a house-owner who brings out from his storeroom both new and old treasures,” Jesus said.
When Jesus finished explaining these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching,
