The disciples came to Jesus and asked him, “Why do you use illustrations when you speak to the people?”

Then Jesus left the crowds and went into a house. His disciples came over to him, and asked him, “Please explain to us the story about the weeds in the field.”

Six days later Jesus took Peter, James and his brother John, with him and they went up a high mountain to be by themselves.

Jesus and his disciples went to Jerusalem. As they were getting close, they came to the village of Bethphage on the Mount of Olives. Jesus sent two disciples on ahead,

As Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him in private, and asked, “Please tell us when this will happen. What will be the sign of your coming and the end of the world?”

James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to see him. “Teacher,” they said, “We want you to do for us whatever we ask you.”

“Tell us: When this will happen? What's the sign that all this is about to be fulfilled?”

He took Peter, James, and John with him. He began to be very disturbed and troubled.

In fact, when he spoke publicly, he only used stories; however in private he explained everything to his disciples.

He wouldn't let anyone go with him except Peter, James, and James' brother John.

Six days later Jesus took Peter, James, and John with him, and led them up a high mountain to be by themselves. His appearance totally changed.
