He will pay attention to the prayers of the homeless; he will not disregard their requests.

However, I'm absolutely sure that I will see the Lord's goodness even in this life.

You hear our prayers; everyone comes to you.

Be kind to me, Lord, for I call out to you all day long.

But those who trust in the Lord will have their strength renewed. They will fly high with wings like eagles. They will run and not be tired. They will walk and not be worn out.

Remain cheerful in the hope you have, put up with the troubles that come, keep on praying.

So then, since God in his mercy has given us this new way of relating to him, we don't give up.

Let's never tire of doing good, for we'll reap a harvest at the proper time, if we don't give up.

Always pray in the Spirit as you do all this. Stay awake and keep on praying for all God's people.

Don't worry about anything, but take everything to God in prayer, explaining your requests to him and thanking him for all he does.

Epaphras who is one of you and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends his greetings. He's always passionate in his prayers on your behalf, praying that you'll stand firm as grown-up Christians, totally convinced about everything as God would want.

Remember to keep on praying, with an alert and thankful mind!
