But the Lord was pleased with Noah.

Don't be afraid, for I am with you! Don't be frightened for I, your God, will make you strong, and I will certainly help you. I will support you with my strong hand, acting for what is right.

Don't be afraid, little flock, for your Father is happy to give you the kingdom.

‘Don't be afraid, Paul,’ he told me. ‘You have to stand trial before Caesar. See, God has graciously given to you everyone who is sailing with you.’

So what's our response to all this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

That's why we can confidently say, “The Lord is the one who helps me, so I won't be afraid. What can anyone do to me?”
