My people, only a few of you are left, and I promise not to punish you as I did before.

The LORD won't always be angry and point out our sins;

Israel will stop being jealous of Judah, and Judah will no longer be the enemy of Israel.

At that time you will say, “I thank you, LORD! You were angry with me, but you stopped being angry and gave me comfort.

But from now on, things will get better. Before you started laying the foundation for the temple,

Although you have not yet harvested any grain, grapes, figs, pomegranates, or olives, I will richly bless you in the days ahead.
