But I will turn Jerusalem into a heavy stone that crushes anyone who tries to lift it. When all nations on earth surround Jerusalem,

I am determined to wipe out every nation that attacks Jerusalem.

This made the king so furious that he sent an army to kill those murderers and burn down their city.

Some day you will see that “Horrible Thing” where it should not be. Everyone who reads this must try to understand! If you are living in Judea at that time, run to the mountains.

This will be the worst time of suffering since God created the world, and nothing this terrible will ever happen again.

About that time Emperor Augustus gave orders for the names of all the people to be listed in record books.
