There's not enough room in all of heaven for you, LORD God. How could you possibly live on earth in this temple I have built?

In the beginning, LORD, you laid the earth's foundation and created the heavens.

and you built your home over the mighty ocean. The clouds are your chariot with the wind as its wings.

You rode on the backs of flying creatures and swooped down with the wind as wings.

Nations rage! Kingdoms fall! But at the voice of God the earth itself melts.

Tell everyone on this earth to shout praises to God!

Sing about his glorious name. Honour him with praises.

Our God, you are the one who rides on the clouds, and we praise you. Your name is the LORD, and we celebrate as we worship you.

You have always ruled, and you are eternal.

The sound of the creatures' wings was as loud as the voice of God All-Powerful and could even be heard in the outer courtyard.

Everything belongs to the LORD your God, not only the earth and everything on it, but also the sky and the highest heavens.

Israel, no other god is like ours— the clouds are his chariot as he rides across the skies to come and help us.

The witnesses then heard a loud voice from heaven, saying, “Come up here.” And while their enemies were watching, they were taken up to heaven in a cloud.

At the sound of the seventh trumpet, loud voices were heard in heaven. They said, “Now the kingdom of this world belongs to our Lord and to his Chosen One! And he will rule for ever and ever!”

The door to God's temple in heaven was then opened, and the sacred chest could be seen inside the temple. I saw lightning and heard roars of thunder. The earth trembled and huge hailstones fell to the ground.
