Please listen and help me. My thoughts are troubled, and I keep groaning
I am innocent, LORD! Won't you listen as I pray and beg for help? I am honest! Please hear my prayer.
Before I confessed my sins, my bones felt limp, and I groaned all day long.
My body is twisted and bent, and I groan all day long.

I cry like a swallow; I mourn like a dove. My eyes are red from looking to you, LORD. I am terribly abused. Please come and help me.
We growl like bears and mourn like doves. We hope for justice and victory, but they escape us.
I begged you to listen. “Help!” I shouted. “Save me!” You answered my prayer
