The LORD doesn't care about the strength of horses or powerful armies.

Some people trust the power of chariots or horses, but we trust you, LORD God.

Others will stumble and fall, but we will be strong and stand firm.

Even if your army has horses ready for battle, the LORD will always win.

Here is something else I have learnt: The fastest runners and the greatest heroes don't always win races and battles. Wisdom, intelligence, and skill don't always make you healthy, rich, or popular. We each have our share of bad luck.

said, “No! We will safely escape on speedy horses.” But those who chase you will be even faster.

You are in for trouble if you go to Egypt for help, or if you depend on an army of chariots or a powerful cavalry. Instead you should depend on and trust the holy LORD God of Israel.

If you have to go to war, you may find yourselves facing an enemy army that is bigger than yours and that has horses and chariots. But don't be afraid! The LORD your God rescued you from Egypt, and he will help you fight.

And during the battle, the LORD confused Sisera, his chariot drivers, and his whole army. Everyone was so afraid of Barak and his army, that even Sisera jumped down from his chariot and tried to escape.
