Even in the night I think about you, LORD, and I obey your Law.
Treat me with kindness, LORD, so that I may live and do what you say.
Help me to understand your Law; I promise to obey it with all my heart.
I will keep obeying your Law for ever and ever.
I try to count your thoughts, but they outnumber the grains of sand on the beach. And when I awake, I will find you nearby.
Every day, you are kind, and at night you give me a song as my prayer to you, the living LORD God.
I think about you before I go to sleep, and my thoughts turn to you during the night.
Each night my mind is flooded with questions:
Throughout the night, my heart searches for you, because your decisions show everyone on this earth how to live right.
About that time Jesus went off to a mountain to pray, and he spent the whole night there.
If you love me, you will do what I have said, and my Father will love you. I will also love you and show you what I am like.
If you obey me, I will keep loving you, just as my Father keeps loving me, because I have obeyed him.
