Charge too much for grain, and you will be cursed; sell it at a fair price, and you will be praised.

The LORD doesn't like those who defend the guilty or condemn the innocent.

Giving to the poor will keep you from poverty, but if you close your eyes to their needs, everyone will curse you.

Don't tell a slave owner something bad about one of the slaves. That slave will curse you, and you will be in trouble.

You are headed for trouble! You say wrong is right, darkness is light, and bitter is sweet.

You accept bribes to let the guilty go free, and you cheat the innocent out of a fair trial.

My people will go out and look at the dead bodies of those who turned against me. The worms there never die, the fire never stops burning, and the sight of those bodies will be disgusting to everyone.

They do things I would never do. They lie to good people and encourage them to do wrong, and they convince the wicked to keep sinning and ruin their lives.
