When a ruler is happy and pleased with you, it's like refreshing rain, and you will live.

You have given him blessings that will last for ever, and you have made him glad by being so near to him.

Your anger lasts a little while, but your kindness lasts for a lifetime. At night we may cry, but when morning comes we will celebrate.

There are some who ask, “Who will be good to us?” Let your kindness, LORD, shine brightly on us.

Let him be as helpful as rain that refreshes the meadows and the ground.

An angry ruler can put you to death. So be wise! Don't make one angry.

An angry king roars like a lion, but when a king is pleased, it's like dew on the crops.

Many try to make friends with a ruler, but justice comes from the LORD.

Let's do our best to know the LORD. His coming is as certain as the morning sun; he will refresh us like rain renewing the earth in the springtime.

I, the LORD, am the one who sends storm clouds and showers of rain to make fields produce. So when the crops need rain, you should pray to me.

He has shown me the path to life, and he makes me glad by being near me.”
