Even if you should hunt and kill a bird or an animal, you must drain out the blood and cover it with soil.

If I should die, I beg the earth not to cover my cry for justice.

A woman who sells her love can be bought for as little as the price of a meal. But making love to another man's wife will cost you everything.

The people of Jerusalem murdered innocent people in the city and didn't even try to cover-up the blood that flowed out on the hard ground.

That's also why I have forbidden you to eat blood.

And no matter where you live, you must not eat the blood of any bird or animal,

But you must never eat the blood of an animal—let it drain out on the ground.
