If something made of wood, cloth, or leather touches one of their dead bodies, it must be washed, but it is still unclean until evening.

Anyone who touches their dead bodies or anything touched by their dead bodies becomes unclean until evening.

Meanwhile, if any of you entered the house while it was closed, you will be unclean until evening.

Any clay pot that he touches must be destroyed, and any wooden bowl that he touches must be washed.

He gave himself to rescue us from everything that is evil and to make our hearts pure. He wanted us to be his own people and to be eager to do right.

He saved us because of his mercy, and not because of any good things that we have done. God washed us by the power of the Holy Spirit. He gave us new birth and a fresh beginning.
