After Job had prayed for his three friends, the LORD made Job twice as rich as he had been before.

He protects the sorrowful and lifts up those who have been disgraced.

Our ancestors were wise, so learn from them.

Pay attention to advice and accept correction, so you can live sensibly.

The lifestyle of good people is like sunlight at dawn that keeps getting brighter until broad daylight.

And the LORD has decided when it will happen—this time of unending day.

When they learnt about our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they escaped from the filthy things of this world. But they are again caught up and controlled by these filthy things, and now they are in a worse state than they were at first.
