You know I am innocent, but who can defend me against you?

But I wish he would speak

There's no way a human can be completely pure.

Job, are you really innocent in the sight of God?

Then I would be comforted, knowing that in all my pain I have never disobeyed God.

Why do you watch us so closely? What's it to you, if I sin? Why am I your target and such a heavy burden?

My advice is useful, so don't turn away.

Honour Christ and let him be the Lord of your life. Always be ready to give an answer when someone asks you about your hope.
