You are proud, but you will stumble and fall, and no one will help you up. I will set your villages on fire, and everything around you will go up in flames.

Put down those proud people who hurt me with their lies, because I have chosen to study your teachings.

Too much pride will destroy you.

you, dearest Israel, have fallen, never to rise again— you lie deserted in your own land, with no one to help you up.

“My people, I will breathe out fire that sends you down to the world of the dead. It will scorch your farmlands and burn deep down under the mountains.

And so, in a single day she will suffer the pain of sorrow, hunger, and death. Fire will destroy her dead body, because her judge is the powerful Lord God.”
