Nations rage! Kingdoms fall! But at the voice of God the earth itself melts.

God of Israel, the earth trembled, and rain poured down. You alone are the God who rules from Mount Sinai.

Why should nations ask us, “Where is your God?” Let us and the other nations see you take revenge for your servants who died a violent death.

and be ready by the day after tomorrow, when I will come down to Mount Sinai, where all of them can see me.

and I have come down to rescue them from the Egyptians. I will bring my people out of Egypt into a country where there is good land, rich with milk and honey. I will give them the land where the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites now live.

I will let you be like a log covered with sharp spikes. You will grind and crush every mountain and hill until they turn to dust.

Please, LORD, look down from your holy and glorious home in the heavens and see what's going on. Have you lost interest? Where is your power? Show that you care about us and have mercy!

We act as though you had never ruled us or called us your people.

You will have such a harvest that you won't be able to bring in all your wheat before ploughing time. You will have grapes left over from season to season; your fruitful vineyards will cover the mountains.

When the LORD God All-Powerful touches the earth, it melts, and its people mourn. God makes the earth rise and then fall, just like the River Nile.

He will take his stand on the Mount of Olives east of Jerusalem, and the mountain will split in half, forming a wide valley that runs from east to west.

As soon as Jesus came out of the water, he saw the sky open and the Holy Spirit coming down to him like a dove.

I saw a great white throne with someone sitting on it. Earth and heaven tried to run away, but there was nowhere for them to go.
