The LORD said: Be honest and fair! Soon I will come to save you; my saving power will be seen everywhere on earth.

You bless those people who are honest and fair in everything they do.

The sacrifice that honours me is a thankful heart. Obey me, and I, your God, will show my power to save.

You are ready to rescue everyone who worships you, so that you will live with us in all your glory.

You, LORD, are above all others, and you live in the heavens. You have brought justice and fairness to Jerusalem;

I will soon come to save you. I am not far away and will waste no time; I take pride in Israel and will save Jerusalem.

Those who live across the sea are eagerly waiting for me to rescue them. I am strong and ready; soon I will come to save and to rule all nations.

Give up your crooked ways and your evil thoughts. Return to the LORD our God. He will be merciful and forgive your sins.

I, the LORD, love justice! But I hate robbery and injustice. My people, I solemnly promise to reward you with an eternal agreement.

You help all who gladly obey and do what you want, but sin makes you angry. Only by your help can we ever be saved.

God has decided that for seventy weeks, your people and your holy city must suffer as the price of their sins. Then evil will disappear, and justice will rule for ever; the visions and words of the prophets will come true, and a most holy place will be dedicated.

Israel, you enjoy cheating and taking advantage of others.

The LORD God has told us what is right and what he demands: “See that justice is done, let mercy be your first concern, and humbly obey your God.”

I have sinned against the LORD. And so I must endure his anger, until he comes to my defence. But I know that I will see him making things right for me and leading me to the light.

Don't ever forget the laws and teachings I gave my servant Moses on Mount Sinai.

He said, “Turn back to God! The kingdom of heaven will soon be here.”

Then Jesus started preaching, “Turn back to God! The kingdom of heaven will soon be here.”

He said, “The time has come! God's kingdom will soon be here. Turn back to God and believe the good news!”

If you really want to obey God, you will know if what I teach comes from God or from me.

The good news tells how God accepts everyone who has faith, but only those who have faith. It is just as the Scriptures say, “The people God accepts because of their faith will live.”
