A loud trumpet will be heard. Then the people of Israel who were dragged away to Assyria and Egypt will return to worship the LORD on his holy mountain in Jerusalem.

He forced some of them to live in the town of Halah, others to live near the River Habor in the territory of Gozan, and still others to live in towns where the Median people lived.

God goes up to his throne, as people shout and trumpets blast.

Sound the trumpets and start the New Moon Festival. We must also celebrate when the moon is full.

Our LORD, you bless those who join in the festival and walk in the brightness of your presence.

When that day comes, the Lord will again reach out his mighty arm and bring home his people who have survived in Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Ethiopia, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, and the land along the coast.

He will give a signal to the nations, and he will bring together the refugees from Judah and Israel, who have been scattered all over the earth.

Then for his people who survive, there will be a good road from Assyria, just as there was a good road for their ancestors when they left Egypt.

Everyone on this earth, listen with care! A signal will be given on the mountains, and you will hear a trumpet.

The LORD will show the Egyptians who he is, and they will know and worship the LORD. They will bring him sacrifices and offerings, and they will keep their promises to him.

After the LORD has punished Egypt, the people will turn to him. Then he will answer their prayers, and the Egyptians will be healed.

When the LORD comes, everyone who is proud will be made humble, and the LORD alone will be honoured.

In the future, the mountain with the LORD's temple will be the highest of all. It will reach above the hills; every nation will rush to it.

Many people will come and say, “Let's go to the mountain of the LORD God of Jacob and worship in his temple.” The LORD will teach us his Law from Jerusalem, and we will obey him.

On this mountain the LORD All-Powerful will prepare for all nations a feast of the finest foods. Choice wines and the best meats will be served.

I will say to the north and to the south, “Free my sons and daughters! Let them return from distant lands.

Israel, I am the holy LORD God, the one who rescues you. You are slaves of rulers and of a nation who despises you. Now this is what I promise: kings and rulers will honour you by kneeling at your feet. You can trust me! I am your LORD, the holy God of Israel, and you are my chosen ones.

I, the LORD, promise to bring together my people who were taken away, and let them join the others.

I know everything you do and think! The time has now come to bring together the people of every language and nation and to show them my glory

On the first day of each month and on each Sabbath, everyone will worship me. I, the LORD, have spoken.

Some day those who guard the hill country of Ephraim will shout, “Let's go to Zion and worship the LORD our God.”

They will come back, fluttering like birds from Egypt or like doves from Assyria. Then I will bring them back to their homes. I, the LORD, have spoken!

You sacrifice your best animals and eat the sacrificial meals, but I, the LORD, refuse your offerings. I will remember your sins and punish you. Then you will return to Egypt.

and you will have to leave the land of the LORD. Some of you will go to Egypt; others will go to Assyria and eat unclean food.

At the sound of a loud trumpet, he will send his angels to bring his chosen ones together from all over the earth.

“The Lord's Spirit has come to me, because he has chosen me to tell the good news to the poor. The Lord has sent me to announce freedom for prisoners, to give sight to the blind, to free everyone who suffers,

You have now come to Mount Zion and to the heavenly Jerusalem. This is the city of the living God, where thousands and thousands of angels have come to celebrate.

God told his secret plans to his servants the prophets, and it will all happen by the time the seventh angel sounds his trumpet.”

I noticed that the seven angels who stood before God were each given a trumpet.

The seven angels now got ready to blow their trumpets.

The voice spoke to this angel and said, “Release the four angels who are tied up beside the great River Euphrates.”
