A field is useful to farmers, if there is enough rain to make good crops grow. In fact, God will bless that field.
God said, “I command the earth to produce all kinds of plants, including fruit trees and grain.” And that's what happened.
While Jacob was kissing him, Isaac caught the smell of his clothes and said: “The smell of my son is like a field the LORD has blessed.
We cried on the way to plant our seeds, but we will celebrate and shout as we bring in the crops.
The LORD God, who saves them, will bless and reward them,
I will bless the thirsty land by sending streams of water; I will bless your descendants by giving them my Spirit.
They will live around my holy mountain, and I will bless them by sending more than enough rain
Plough your fields, scatter seeds of justice, and harvest faithfulness. Worship me, the LORD, and I will send my saving power down like rain.
I will see to it that you harvest enough in the sixth year to last for three years.
I am the LORD All-Powerful, and I challenge you to put me to the test. Bring the entire ten per cent into the storehouse, so there will be food in my house. Then I will open the windows of heaven and flood you with blessing after blessing.
Everyone who asks will receive. Everyone who searches will find. And the door will be opened for everyone who knocks.
And farmers who work hard are the first to eat what grows in their field.
My friends, be patient until the Lord returns. Think of farmers who wait patiently for the spring and summer rains to make their valuable crops grow.
