And you are fully grown because you belong to Christ, who is over every power and authority.

They are no longer part of Christ, who is the head of the whole body. Christ gives the body its strength, and he uses its joints and muscles to hold it together, as it grows by the power of God.

so that if I am delayed, you will know how everyone who belongs to God's family ought to behave. After all, the church of the living God is the strong foundation of truth.

And you have put everything under our power!” God has put everything under our power and has not left anything out of our power. But we still don't see it all under our power.
