No matter what you try to accomplish, the LORD will confuse you, and you will feel his anger. You won't last long, and you may even meet with disaster, all because you rejected the LORD.

Those sinners are filthy foam on the surface of the water. And so, their fields and vineyards will fall under a curse and won't produce.

You see that justice is done, and each day you take revenge.

Morning, noon, and night an overwhelming flood will wash you away. The terrible things that happen will teach you this lesson:

As few as five of them, or even one, will be enough to chase a thousand of you. Finally, all that will be left will be a few survivors as lonely as a flag pole on a barren hill.

You had better take seriously the need to honour my name. Otherwise, when you give a blessing, I will turn it into a curse. In fact, I have already done this, because you haven't taken to heart your duties as priests.

Everyone who has faith in the Son has eternal life. But no one who rejects him will ever share in that life, and God will be angry with them for ever.

The LORD your God is giving you the land, and he will make sure you are successful in everything you do. Your harvests will be so large that your storehouses will be full.

They keep us from speaking his message to the Gentiles and from leading them to be saved. The Jews have always gone too far with their sins. Now God has finally become angry and will punish them.

Saul quickly called his army together, then led them to the Philistine camp. By this time the Philistines were so confused that they were killing each other.
