Does God All-Powerful stand in the way of justice?

“How long will you keep judging unfairly and favouring evil people?

Don't accept bribes. Judges are blinded and justice is twisted by bribes.

But there will be rewards for those who live right and tell the truth, for those who refuse to take money by force or accept bribes, for all who hate murder and violent crimes.

People cooperate to commit crime. Judges and leaders demand bribes, and rulers cheat in court.

They sent some of their followers and some of Herod's followers to say to him, “Teacher, we know that you are honest. You teach the truth about what God wants people to do. And you treat everyone with the same respect, no matter who they are.

Peter then said: Now I am certain that God treats all people alike.

God doesn't have any favourites!

Are we saying that God is unfair? Certainly not!

Some of them were supposed to be important leaders, but I didn't care who they were. God doesn't have any favourites! None of these so called special leaders added anything to my message.

Slave owners, you must treat your slaves with this same respect. Don't threaten them. They have the same Master in heaven that you do, and he doesn't have any favourites.

The LORD is a mighty rock, and he never does wrong. God can always be trusted to bring justice.

But Christ has no favourites! He will punish evil people, just as they deserve.

You say that God is your Father, but God doesn't have favourites! He judges all people by what they do. So you must honour God while you live as strangers here on earth.

Saul killed two of his oxen, cut them up in pieces, and gave the pieces to the messengers. He told them to show the pieces to everyone in Israel and say, “Saul and Samuel are getting an army together. Come and join them. If you don't, this is what will happen to your oxen!” The LORD made the people of Israel terribly afraid. So all the men came together
