Ahab built an altar and temple for Baal in Samaria

Elijah answered: You're the troublemaker—not me! You and your family have disobeyed the LORD's commands by worshipping Baal.

Jehu called together the people in Samaria and said: King Ahab sometimes worshipped Baal, but I will be completely faithful to Baal.

Jehu sent an invitation to everyone in Israel. All the worshippers of Baal came, and the temple was filled from one end to the other.

and disobeyed the LORD by doing wrong. He tore down the stone image his father had made to honour Baal, and so he wasn't as sinful as his parents.
