I will praise and give thanks to You, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to You among the nations.
I WILL confess and praise You [O God] with my whole heart; before the gods will I sing praises to You.
Therefore will I give thanks and extol You, O Lord, among the nations, and sing praises to Your name. [Rom. 15:9.]
WHY DO the nations assemble with commotion [uproar and confusion of voices], and why do the people imagine (meditate upon and devise) an empty scheme?
Then will I go to the altar of God, to God, my exceeding joy; yes, with the lyre will I praise You, O God, my God!
Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all the peoples.
And [also in order] that the Gentiles (nations) might glorify God for His mercy [not covenanted] to them. As it is written, Therefore I will praise You among the Gentiles and sing praises to Your name. [Ps. 18:49.]
Awake, awake, Deborah! Awake, awake, utter a song! Arise, Barak, and lead away your captives, you son of Abinoam.
