Therefore [even] when He heard that Lazarus was sick, He still stayed two days longer in the same place where He was.

So Abraham called the name of that place The Lord Will Provide. And it is said to this day, On the mount of the Lord it will be provided.

And he turned away from them and wept; then he returned to them and talked with them, and took from them Simeon and bound him before their eyes.

And therefore the Lord [earnestly] waits [expecting, looking, and longing] to be gracious to you; and therefore He lifts Himself up, that He may have mercy on you and show loving-kindness to you. For the Lord is a God of justice. Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. [They were His dear friends, and He held them in loving esteem.]

Then after that interval He said to His disciples, Let us go back again to Judea.
