And the territory of the Canaanites extended from Sidon as one goes to Gerar as far as Gaza, and as one goes to Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha.

These are the sons of Ham by their families, their languages, their lands, and their nations.

They made war on the kings Bera of Sodom, Birsha of Gomorrah, Shinab of Admah, Shemeber of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela, that is, Zoar.

The latter kings joined together [as allies] in the Valley of Siddim, which is [now] the [Dead] Sea of Salt.

And the Lord said, Because the shriek [of the sins] of Sodom and Gomorrah is great and their sin is exceedingly grievous,

When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when He separated the children of men, He set the bounds of the peoples according to the number of the Israelites.

Ebron, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, even to populous Sidon.

THEN SAMSON went to Gaza and saw a harlot there, and went in to her.

They would encamp against them and destroy the crops as far as Gaza and leave no nourishment for Israel, and no ox or sheep or donkey.

Another turned toward Beth-horon, and another toward the border overlooking the Valley of Zeboim toward the wilderness.
