So his brothers were jealous of him, but his father kept the speech in mind.


Then they envied Moses in the camp, and also Aaron, the holy one of Adonai.


Wrath is cruel and anger is overwhelming, but who can stand before jealousy?


Then I saw that all toil and all skill that is done come from man’s envy of his neighbor; this too is fleeting and striving after the wind.

For he knew that out of envy the ruling kohanim had handed Him over.


When the Jewish leaders saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and tried to contradict what Paul was saying by reviling him.


But the kohen gadol rose up, and all those with him (that is, the sect of the Sadducees), and they were filled with jealousy.


The patriarchs became jealous of Joseph and sold him into Egypt. Yet God was with him.


Or do you think that in vain the Scripture says, “He yearns jealously over the spirit which He made to dwell in us”?
