How long will all of you assault a man, to crush him, like a leaning wall, a fence to be torn down?


For as he thinks within himself, so is he. “Eat and drink”, he says to you, but his heart is not with you.


How much more valuable then is a man than a sheep! Therefore it is permitted to do good on Shabbat.”


Now some were carefully watching Him, to see if He would heal him on Shabbat, so that they might accuse Him.


As He spoke, a Pharisee asked Yeshua to eat with him, so He entered and sat down.


And there before Him was a man swollen with fluid.


Now when Yeshua was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with signs to be seen.


Now they watched Him and sent spies who pretended to be righteous, in order to trap Him in His words so they could hand Him over to the power and authority of the governor.


But closely watching Him were the Torah scholars and Pharisees, to see if He heals on Shabbat, so that they might find grounds to accuse Him.


Now there was a man, a Pharisee named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jewish people.


But a certain Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the Torah respected by all the people, stood up in the Sanhedrin and gave orders to put the men outside for a little while.
