since you are especially knowledgeable about all Jewish customs and issues. Therefore I beg you to listen patiently to me.


He requested letters of introduction from him to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any men or women belonging to the Way, he might bring them as prisoners to Jerusalem.


The judges are to investigate thoroughly, and if indeed the witness is a false witness and has testified falsely against his brother,
