For not by their own sword did they possess the land, Neither did their own arm save them; But it was Your right hand and Your arm, And the light of Your face, Because You delighted in them.


O mountain of peaks, why do you gaze in envy At the mountain which Elohim desired to dwell in; יהוה even dwells there forever.


“In Your loving-commitment You led the people whom You have redeemed, in Your strength You guided them to Your set-apart dwelling.


“You bring them in and plant them in the mountain of Your inheritance, in the place, O יהוה, which You have made for Your own dwelling, the set-apart place, O יהוה, which Your hands have prepared.


They do no evil nor destroy in all My set-apart mountain, for the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of יהוה as the waters cover the sea.


And they came in and possessed it, but they did not obey Your voice nor did they walk in Your Torah. They did not do all that You commanded them to do, so You brought all this evil upon them.


and he shall pitch the tents of his palace between the seas and the splendid set-apart mountain, but shall come to his end with none to help him.


who is the pledge of our inheritance, until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His esteem.
