For I am in dread of destruction from Ěl, and from His excellence I could not escape.


For the arrows of the Almighty are within me, my spirit drinks in their poison, the onslaughts of Eloah are arrayed against me.


I also, I do not hold my mouth, I speak in the distress of my spirit, I complain in the bitterness of my being.


Why are you depressed, O my being? And why are you restless within me? Wait for Elohim: for I shall yet thank Him, the deliverance of my face, And my Elohim.

O יהוה, in distress they shall visit You, they shall pour out a prayer when Your disciplining is upon them.


Do not be a ruin to me, You are my shelter in the day of evil.


And You have removed my being far from peace, I have forgotten goodness.


What? Should mankind complain, A living man, because of his sins?
