were joining with their brothers, their nobles, and were entering into a curse and into an oath to walk in the Torah of Elohim, which was given by Mosheh the servant of Elohim, and to guard and do all the commands of יהוה  our Master, and His right-rulings and His laws,


On that day was read from the Book of Mosheh in the hearing of the people, and in it was found written that an Ammonite and Mo’aḇ


And day by day, from the first day until the last day, he read from the Book of the Torah of Elohim. And they performed the festival seven days. And on the eighth day there was an assembly, according to the right-ruling.


And on the twenty-fourth day of this month the children of Yisra’ĕ


Whom would He teach knowledge? And whom would He make to understand the message? Those weaned from milk, those taken from the breasts!


“Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕ


“For the lips of a priest should guard knowledge, and they seek the Torah from his mouth, for he is the messenger of יהוה  of hosts.


‘And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you have a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work, it is a day of blowing the trumpets for you.


“For from ancient generations Mosheh has, in every city, those proclaiming him – being read in the congregations every Sabbath.”


“And it shall be, when he sits on the throne of his reign, that he shall write for himself a copy of this Torah in a book, from the one before the priests, the Lĕ


There was not a word of all that Mosheh had commanded which Yehoshua did not read before all the assembly of Yisra’ĕ
