He certainly scoffs the scoffers, But gives favour to the humble.


“Let all their evil come before You, And do to them as You have done to me For all my transgressions. For my sighs are many, and my heart is faint.”


Ephrayim has provoked most bitterly. So his Master left his blood-guilt on him, and repaid him for his reproach.
