Before the mountains were born, Or You had brought forth the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting You are Ě


“But you yourself, seek out from all the people able men, who fear Elohim, men of truth, hating unfair gain. And place these over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.


And Mosheh chose able men out of all Yisra’ĕ


And a Rod shall come forth from the stump of Yishai, and a Sprout from his roots shall bear fruit.


For He grew up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or splendour that we should look upon Him, nor appearance that we should desire Him –


“See, I have given Him as a witness to the people, a Leader and a Commander for the people.


“Therefore יהוה  Himself gives you a sign: Look, the maiden conceives and gives birth to a Son, and shall call His Name Immanu’ĕ


‘And his Prince shall be from him, and his Ruler shall come from among him. And I shall bring him near, and he shall approach Me, for who is this who pledged his heart to approach Me?’ declares יהוה.


‘So let us know, let us pursue to know יהוה. His going forth is as certain as the morning. And He comes to us like the rain, like the latter rain watering the earth.’


“In that day I shall raise up the booth of Dawiḏ


Be in pain, and deliver, O daughter of Tsiyon, like a woman in labour. For now you are to leave the city, and you shall dwell in the field. And you shall go to Baḇ


“O sword, awake against My Shepherd, against the Man who is My Companion,” declares יהוה  of hosts. “Smite the Shepherd, and let the sheep be scattered. But I shall turn My hand upon the little ones.


“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Tsiyon! Shout, O daughter of Yerushalayim! See, your Sovereign is coming to you, He is righteous and endowed with deliverance, humble and riding on a donkey, a colt, the foal of a donkey.


And יהושע  having been born in Bĕ


And יהושע  came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.


and began to accuse Him, saying, “We found this one perverting the nation, and forbidding to pay taxes to Caesar, saying that He Himself is Messiah, a Sovereign.”


And there was also an inscription written over Him in letters of Greek, and Roman, and Heḇ


“Did not the Scripture say that the Messiah comes from the seed of Dawiḏ


“And I took the heads of your tribes, wise men and known, and made them heads over you, leaders of thousands, and leaders of hundreds, and leaders of fifties, and leaders of tens, and officers for your tribes.


And He is before all, and in Him all hold together.


יהושע  Messiah is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.


For it is perfectly clear that our Master arose from Yehuḏ


What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life:


And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written: SOVEREIGN OF SOVEREIGNS AND MASTER OF MASTERS.


“And to the messenger of the assembly in Smurna write, ‘This says the First and the Last, who became dead, and came to life:


And He said to me, “It is done! I am the ‘Aleph’ and the ‘Taw’, the Beginning and the End. To the one who thirsts I shall give of the fountain of the water of life without payment.


And there was a young man from Bĕ


And it came to be, in the days when the rulers ruled, that there was a scarcity of food in the land. And a man from Bĕ


And all the people who were at the gate, and the elders, said, “Witnesses! יהוה  make the woman who is coming to your house as Raḥ


“And today you have rejected your Elohim, who Himself saved you out of all your evils and your distresses. And you have said to Him, ‘No, but set a sovereign over us!’ And now, present yourselves before יהוה  by your tribes and by your clans.”


“And take these ten cheeses to the commander of the thousand, and see how your brothers are, and bring back news of them.”


“So look, and learn all about the hiding places where he hides. And you shall come back to me with certainty, then I shall go with you. And it shall be, if he is in the land, that I shall search for him throughout all the clans of Yehuḏ


and appoint commanders over his thousands and commanders over his fifties, or to plough his ground and reap his harvest, or to make his weapons, and equipment for his chariots.
