Thus Yehoshua smote all the land: the mountain country and the South and the low country and the wilderness slopes, and all their sovereigns. He left no survivor, but put all that breathed under the ban, as יהוה  Elohim of Yisra’ĕ


“And if it seems evil in your eyes to serve יהוה, choose for yourselves this day whom you are going to serve, whether the mighty ones which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the mighty ones of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But I and my house, we serve יהוה.”


And it came to be, when all the sovereigns who were beyond the Yardĕ


saying to the sixth messenger who had the trumpet, “Release the four messengers, those having been bound at the great river Euphrates.”
