“And vain men gathered to him, sons of Beliyaʽ


And it came to be, as he talked with him, that the sovereign said to him, “Have we appointed you counsellor to the sovereign? Stop! “If he says thus, ‘It is well,’ your servant is safe. But if he is very displeased, then know that he has resolved to do evil.


And Yehonathan said, “Far be it from you! For if I knew with certainty that my father has resolved that evil is to come upon you, then would I not make it known to you?”


“They were a wall to us both by night and day, all the days we were with them tending the sheep.


“Please, let not my master regard this man of Beliyaʽ
