Then fill'd with laughter was our mouth, our tongue with melody: They 'mong the heathen said, The Lord great things for them hath wrought.


Therefore to thee will I give thanks the heathen folk among; And to thy name, O Lord, I will sing praises in a song.


Be still, and know that I am God; among the heathen I Will be exalted; I on earth will be exalted high.


The heathen rag'd tumultuously, the kingdoms moved were: The Lord God uttered his voice, the earth did melt for fear.


So men shall say, The righteous man reward shall never miss: And verily upon the earth a God to judge there is.


In wrath consume them, them consume, that so they may not be: And that in Jacob God doth rule to th' earth's ends let them see.


O let the nations be glad, in songs their voices raise: Thou'lt justly people judge, on earth rule nations all.


O let the wicked's malice end; but stablish stedfastly The righteous: for the righteous God the hearts and reins doth try.


In righteousness to judge the world, justice to give each one.


God also will a refuge be for those that are oppress'd; A refuge will he be in times of trouble to distress'd.


The Lord doth reign, and cloth'd is he with majesty most bright; His works do shew him cloth'd to be, and girt about with might. The world is also stablished, that it cannot depart.


Before the Lord; because he comes, to judge the earth comes he: He'll judge the world with righteousness, the people faithfully.
